For those following my family's illness dramas, I just want you to know that there's no lack of 'em! Recently, a relative passed out cold on their front porch and has been having MRIs and heart monitors and neck braces ever since. I have been completely occupied with driving them places, helping them walk down halls, taking notes on everything the doctors have said, making master lists of appointments ("We need to bring this to the one on the 24th and that to the one on the 28th"), and coordinating larger action plans based on all the diagnoses that are coming in. Yeah, that was "diagnoses" plural. Good times.
Plus I have freelance deadlines, and a child. I'm sure my husband would be interested in renewing his acquaintance with me as well, to say nothing of having something for dinner other than spaghetti for the fifth night in a row. (As a Vata, an introvert, and a withdrawn Enneagram type, I have the stamina of a new-hatched chick panting in its broken shell, and totally cannot be making dinner and sweeping the floor when something else big is going on.) (Yes, I know. Sad. Sad, sad, sad. Oh well.)
All of which is to say...things are beyond crazy and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. I will post as I can.
