It feels like February

1) I'm riddled with major deadlines looming ominously in the future
2) I'm sick with something that's acting like a flu--aches, exhaustion, reduced ability to tolerate light and nonexistent ability to tolerate noise; periods of chills and sneezing
3) Same with my daughter, who keeps getting better and then worse--one step forward, two steps back
4) My days consist of driving my sick relative to their clinic appointments
5) Our bank statement looks like we've just been through Christmas
6) We're all tired and holding on for some kind of break that we imagine must be coming

Yep, our situation's got February written all over it. All that's missing is the slush and snow.

If I didn't have my yoga practice, I'd be pretty upset right now.
